Cut a (thick-ish) stack of paper

To cut a thick stack of paper, you need a sharp craft knife and a straight edge.

Be sure to use a blade that is as sharp as possible. The trick to avoid fray is to cut the paper slowly while applying as *little* pressure as possible. This technique allows you to cut larger quantities of paper at once and also gives you the opportunity to create clean cut edges on your books.
